I was inspired to paint this piece. The colour, the peace, where does the path lead? You feel protected and personal. With just a hint of the sun shining through, its a promise of a beautiful day to come.

To set this one off, I have included a white floating wooden frame.

This painting was created over many sessions. The surface that you see has been built up in several layers, leaving marks and splashes visible. The surface is oil paint, with some spatters and signs of overpainting and reworking. Please note that the edges of the canvas are painted, and it is ready to hang without framing.
