”Aquatic Eden” is an original palette-knife oil painting inspired by the quiet beauty of waterlilies floating across a reflective pond with a waterfall backdrop.

I have always been drawn to waterlilies and hidden places. This piece is from my imagination with drawn reference to spots I have found during my travels around Australia, and especially in the top end around the Kimberley Region.

Rich texture, layered colour and expressive mark-making create a lively, abstract–impressionistic surface that draws the viewer into the movement of the water and the delicate blooms rising from it.
